The World Upside, Right Side Down?

“The world is animated with all the wrong techniques sometimes, and it stands to reason that no one is to blame but ourselves, for standing back and allowing everyone to become so out of control. They jacked up what authors have to say by citing for all wide minded individuals to stick to what they do best, but, what is that anyway? Oh yeah, brace yourself and continue to be banked and boinked until food is too high to own and water is the precious gold of the new born leaders. Then some say be positive. We were inspired to make a song that wasn’t melancholy by what’s in front of us, so maybe you need to get smacked upside the head after all.”

“There is no reason to debate what exist before your eyes. Be positive, don’t convey a negative message, so basically, don’t speak any truths and keep pumping out Disney safe music, film, and videogames? To Hell with that, we thrive on reality because at the end of the day, it is all you have. Owning a dream takes time, and being afforded the opportunity to have something to say is living. To say nothing about truths in your surroundings is the worst thing. Be what you’re capable of being while still breathing air and having mobility. You didn’t ask my opinion? That’s okay, no one asked yours either.”

I adore you so much. If I can only be as brave and creative as you, I would be happy. Two thumbs up and I am your follower from this day forward.

Its not always we say the truth, the reason is obvious. A lie which do not harms anyone is not that bad anyway.
But it’s also true that we always do not lie as well.

A very creative approach to voicing out your opinion. I hope that one day I could convey how I feel with the same creativity as yours. This piece is unique, brave and I look forward to more of your work. I really like how the last line went – “You didn’t ask my opinion? That’s okay, no one asked yours either.” It like an exclamation point to the whole piece.

i like it but it didnt feel poetic it felt more like an out loud thought. im not saying i dont agree cause i do but not in what id say was a poetic form it was more like a blog form. although you hit the nail on the head with the not telling truths and things.

You conveyed great thoughts here ! But what I truly like most in these thoughts is this line “To say nothing about truths in your surroundings is the worst thing.” I support this idea! Thanks for sharing and keep writing!

I commend you on finding away to convey your thoughts first and foremost. While I do agree to a great extent with what you stated such as trying to keep everything Disney friendly, I also have a feeling that you are saying it how you say it just to be spiteful. While some people aren’t truthful about their surroundings, many more are well aware of their surroundings and don’t have to yell it from the mountains. As I said I will applaud the speaking your mind, but I’m not so sure that it is your mind your speaking or just rhetoric to get the people to think you have said something inspiring.

In a lifetime, we will directly or indirectly influences many other people, just like you did to us.

You have very well articulated what is going on with our lives today. I must agree that some of us are trying to avoid facing the truth and reality of life because it is a bittersweet fact. Well, truth is all we have, I like that. Truth, no matter how bad or good is always liberating. Your poem speaks nothing of hypocrisy but the ugly realization of the real picture of what is life is all about.

Humble people don’t think less of themselves; they just think of themselves less. I love every single of your thoughts.

I like the message of this post. I believe it’s best to always tell the truth about your surroundings and even about what you feel.

Anyone who isn’t confused here doesn’t really understand what’s going on.

The truth that makes men free is for the most part the truth which men prefer not to hear.

Things are entirely what they appear to be and behind them… there’s nothing. People are thinking too much!

What I really liked about this piece of prose you have written is that it very much dabbles in reality. Your real feelings. I myself stand behind your thoughts wholeheartedly as well. I am a musician and try to break out from the norm as well. I really melted when you noted Disney and pop music, two things which I absolutely despise and think are detrimental to real artistic expression.
