True Paranormal Stories (Plus Road Avenger Updates)

Fall is flying fast, and winter seems to be settling in. I woke up this morning and looked outside the window to find a surrealistic image before me. There was mist forming along the street’s bottom, and the air was full of colorful leaves. For a moment, time was suspended; in the red and gold that whispered to the ground — They spoke of seasons passed and the long gone days of childhood then disappeared into the fog. (A nostalgic farewell till next year) *

Later, while writing, I thought of the dying leaves. Were they beckoning to be saved or rejoicing because they’d been set free? (Free from having to be saved for now) *

We’re excited to report that SEGA-16.com has published the first review of “The Road Avenger” novel’s opening-excerpt. It comes off the heels of announcements that we are beginning development of public-demo 2. Their supporting-article touches on the source-material’s (“Road Blaster”) origins and meshes into a quick synopsis of the novel’s introduction. (Read it here) *

We’re also excited to share that we’ve begun development on a new “Devil’z Hide” installment. I’m not taking on these side-projects as anything too large, but they will be more than enough to quench your thirst for the psychological and survivalist urges inside us all. More information will be posted in the coming weeks. (Demo-Club updates for October have been posted) *

My October demo-club letter includes some Halloween goodies, which are links to paranormal stories submitted by everyday people around the globe. The stories (selected from about.com paranormal) span the topics of ghostly encounters, time paradoxes, and spiritual occurrences (including stories about the Ouija). Below is one of the stories included:

“The Ouija Knew”

As a 13 year old, I, and my two best friends (J & S), were into anything and everything. We believed that you should try everything once. For about two months every Friday night, we would have a séance at whosever’s house we stayed at. One night our Ouija board went on a spelling frenzy. It told us that J’s brother would be in a car accident. We were so scared that we rang the hospitals and police to check for accidents. J’s mum woke up and heard us on the phone, so she came to check on us. When she found out what had happened, we were barred from having séances again – or risked being stopped from seeing each other. We stopped the séances, but we did try to warn her brother from going in his mate’s yellow car – as was described by the Ouija. He laughed us off as silly little girls.

Three weeks later, while he was in his mate’s car, J’s brother hit a telephone pole and was thrown eight feet into the air. He suffered severe injuries and only narrowly escaped death because he changed where he had originally been sitting in the car. Had he not moved, he would have been killed instantly. I’m now 30 years old and have a child. I raise him to believe that anything is possible, and if it is meant to be, then it will happen. – Tania R.
