Not only as an inspiration, but as a person who changed how we had envisioned the creative-writing fields altogether; a person who pioneered the acceptance of the dark with the satirical and the diabolical. 130 years before, he made sense of the senseless and brought the sensible out from the senselessness that we considered life, but all the while, had known was death.
